Model Converter

Prop Viewer has been around a while and has had a few updates. What it does is allow you to seen an image of a model, before you decide to install it and it will also convert them to a format you can use. So that wonderfully made 3ds model you can't use in Daz or some other program, can now be converted for use. I do not know if it saves an mtl file, though plan on checking this baby out to see how well it works.

POVRay is another converter program, originally designed to simply view an item, though you also can import and export a model in many different formats. I have used this program and it works rather well. It has a little bit of a learning curve, yet once you figure it out, it's easy to use.
